Services
Our services
We meet for 3 different services throughout the week.
9.15 Gathering / Taizé
Our 9.15 Gathering is an informal space that takes place on the sofas at the back of church. You’ll be offered a cup of tea, and we’ll have a short reading and discussion.
On the second Sunday of the month, we have a children-friendly Taizé service at 9.15am. You can expect singing, prayer and silence using songs and prayers from the Taizé community.

10.30am Service

The service is usually about 1 hour long, followed by refreshments. Each week is slightly different, but we always spend some time singing together, and thinking about what it means to follow Jesus.
Children are welcome at our services. Babies and toddlers are welcome throughout the service (we have toys available) and there is a group for school age children most weeks.
Our main church building is wheelchair accessible, and we have an accessible toilet. We have a hearing loop, and the words for our services are visible on our projector screens.
1st Sunday – Cafe Church
For Cafe Church, we all stay together and there’s a more relaxed feel to the service. You are welcome to bring children to this service.
2nd / 4th Sunday – Communion
Please let us know if you would like to take part in communion but have any allergens. We have gluten-free bread available.
3rd Sunday – Morning worship
Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays are a mixture of modern and traditional worship styles. There is usually a children’s group.
5th Sunday – Joint service with St Peter’s
The joint service alternates venue. If this month has a 5th Sunday, check our newsletter for more information on where this month’s service is. There’s no children’s provision on a 5th Sunday.
10am Thursday Communion
At 10am every Thursday we have a Holy Communion service. This is followed by refreshments, and many also stay on for the lunch club which happens afterwards. You would be welcome to join us.
